As Digital Channels try to keep pace with the evolving expectations of customers, we believe that Personalization will play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement and satisfaction by demonstrating that we know our customers . The Director, Product Management will lead the evolution of key Personalization products, accelerate growth and embed personalization across the Enterprise.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who will bring thought leadership in developing capabilities and driving business outcomes, while taking a pragmatic approach to platform modernization. The individual must be a collaborative, culturally aware, who can effectively lead and mentor a team of Product Developers. The candidate should take a customer-centric approach to prioritization and be able to manage competing priorities of multiple customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the vision for Customer Personalization experiences in key channels, defining concrete goals and creating a path for the teams to achieve that vision.
- Define the team s plans in partnership with Data Science and Engineering globally, forging intimate collaboration to effectively drive business outcomes.
- Lead a team of 4 Product Owners. Support your direct reports in helping them collaborate with Partners across the Enterprise to ensure scrum teams and backlog is aligned to business goals and priorities and is continuously delivering valuable capabilities.
- Develop a Product Suite Roadmap based on business drivers, by understanding Enterprise goals across Digital Channels, Marketing, Servicing, Engineering, Data Science & Analytics and Product partners, with a perspective on machine learning and its role in the evolution of Customer Personalization
- Partner with Engineering and Partner Product teams to continuously assess and improve the agile working practices of the team, reducing waste, improving efficiency and maximizing the delivery of value.
- Continuously engage with partners to maintain product transparency, build trust and address concerns and challenges.
Qualifications:
- 5-6 years of experience developing digital products
- Proven track record of launching digital experiences at scale across multiple channels that have grown to a large active user base.
- Prior experience building Personalization capabilities for digital experiences is a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of basic User Experience and Design principles, creation of product roadmaps and agile product development methodology
- Highly collaborative & influential leader with excellent communication skills and experience working effectively with peers.
- Strong thought leadership in the digital product space
- Innovative mindset understanding technical nuances of the channel and core platforms.
- Ability to interpret consumer insights and trends into actual features and functionality.
- Passionate about digital product development with a strong interest in both basic Algorithm and API development, inside and outside of work
- Confident self-starter, comfortable working across time zones
- Masters Degree
