Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing B2B SaaS company in a pivotal role that will shape the digital transformation of our online presence

We are offering a fully remote position for candidates based in India, with a requirement to have at least a 3-hour daily overlap with the US West Coast working timezone (UTC -7) to ensure seamless collaboration across teams

As the Senior Full-Stack Web Developer, you will report directly to the Director of Web and SEO and collaborate with diverse teams across Marketing and Engineering

This role is your chance to lead, innovate, and make a significant impact on our future direction

Your first high-visibility project will be to lead the rebuild of our website, a critical initiative that offers the chance to significantly shape our online presence

Transitioning from WordPress to a cutting-edge, efficient stack utilizing Next js and Prismic hosted on Vercel, you'll have the autonomy to steer projects, influence our web development trajectory, and immerse yourself in the latest technologies

Essential Responsibilities

Lead and Innovate: Spearhead the migration of our existing WordPress site to a modern stack with Next

js, Prismic, and TailwindCSS

Youll manage this high-impact project from inception to launch, ensuring a seamless transition and setting new standards for our digital presence

Develop Cutting-Edge Solutions: Harness your expertise in React, GraphQL, and headless CMS (ideally Prismic) to architect and build advanced features, pushing the boundaries of website performance and user experience

Collaborate and Elevate: Join forces with our marketing team and fellow developers, leading by example to foster a culture of excellence and innovation

Your guidance will be instrumental in elevating our web development practices

Embrace Continuous Learning: Stay at the forefront of web technology by continuously exploring and adopting new tools and frameworks

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Experience

Seasoned Expert: 8+ years of experience in web development, ideally within a B2B SaaS startup environment, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the tech industry

Experienced Developer: Should have a solid foundation in full-stack web development, with extensive experience in WordPress, React, TailwindCSS, GraphQL, Next js, Typescript, Github, and VS Code

Animation skills are a plus

Quality Assurance: Proficient in writing robust tests using tools like Cypress, ensuring our applications are reliable and bug-free

Design System Advocate: Experience with Storybook or equivalent tools to maintain UI consistency and avoid design drift, contributing to a cohesive and scalable frontend architecture

Agile Enthusiast: Understand and thrive in an Agile Web Development environment, actively participating in monthly sprints, stand-ups, and planning sessions to ensure project success

SEO Knowledgeable: Should have experience with SEO best practices and understand how they can be integrated into web development to enhance site visibility and performance
