Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
- Architect and implement cloud-based solutions for various business needs, including data storage, networking, and application deployment.
- Manage and monitor cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and release management.
- Perform regular security assessments and implement security best practices.
- Manage and optimize cloud costs, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies.
- Plan and execute cloud migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Optimize existing applications for cloud deployment.
- Perform data migration and integration.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Google Cloud Monitoring.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Experience with database administration in cloud environments.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
- Experience with DevOps methodologies.
