Quality Engineer - Automation Testing (3-6 yrs)

Quality Engineer : Python background is mandatory for this Automation Testing position

Technical Skills :

- Around 3 to 7 years of experience in testing with minimum 2 years of experience in Automation.

- Good knowledge of Software Testing concepts, Software test life cycle and Bugs life cycle.

- Knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber, CI/CD, SQL, log analysis.

- Basic Knowledge and experience on Python - Must

- Expertise in writing end-to-end test scenarios and test cases.

- Good Knowledge of Agile Process and Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarly with AI, ML, LLM and Generative AI terminologies.

- Working Experience with REST API & Docker environment.

- Working Experience with usage of tools like ALM, JIRA.

- Basic knowledge of understanding and writing SQL Queries.

- Experience in Life Science domain (added advantage).

Soft skills :

- Should be a team player and have a learning attitude

- Should possess great communication and collaboration skills.

- Should be self-driven

Roles and Responsibilities :

- To understand the Requirements and participate in the walkthroughs, provide feedbacks, inputs on the impact areas and review the requirement thoroughly.

- Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.

- Execute all the test cases in the Test tool and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.

- Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.

- Take up the Automation tasks in every sprint , follow standard coding practices and provide proper assertions wherever needed.

- Execute the scripts periodically, analyse the errors and maintain the scripts so that they are in runnable condition.

- Participate in the PI planning activities , understand the requirements, provide estimates for testing activities, identify the Risks involved.

- Participate in all Scrum ceremonies effectively.

- Work closely with development teams to understand software architecture and design, ensuring test coverage.

- Collaborate with product managers to validate that software meets business requirements.

- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
