Senior Power BI Developer - Data Visualization (5-7 yrs)

ResourceTree Global Services is hiring Senior Data Visualization Developer for one of its leading Data Analytics client.

Experience : 5 + Years

Location : Chennai (Hybrid)

Primary Skills : Power BI, Data Analysis, SQL / PL SQL, Making DAX queries, Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, &

dashboards

Secondary Skills: SQL / PL SQL ,Agile Concepts, Azure, Database (Any)

Role Description :

Data visualization is the representation of data or information in a graph, chart, or other visual format. It communicates relationships of the data with images. Visual summary of information makes it easier to identify patterns and trends than looking through thousands of rows of data. Charts and graphs make communicating data findings easier.

Role Responsibility :

- BI tools schema definition, design, implementation, and maintenance

- Performance tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of BI solutions

- Interpret business requirements to functional and technical specifications

- Setting up development environment and configuring development tools

- Manage, monitor, and ensure security and privacy of data to satisfy business needs

- Work closely with DBAs on data model or database changes

- Participate in after-hours support rotation when needed

- Communicate with all project stakeholders

- Coordinating with the UAT team

Role Requirements :

- Experience in different visualization techniques, data profiling, and data validation

- Experience in gathering requirements and documentation processes

- Experience in performing unit testing

- Proficient in advanced SQL programming concepts

- Good knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts

- Knowledgeable in relational databases, non-relational databases, data streams, and file stores

- Sound aptitude, outstanding logical reasoning, and analytical skills

- Willingness to learn and take initiatives

- Ability to conduct query performance tuning

- Ability to work with a diverse team and adapt to fast-paced Agile environment
