Mern Stack Developer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MERN Stack Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN stack). The ideal candidate should have a passion for web development and a strong understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
As a MERN Stack Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain web applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement front-end components and user interfaces.
- Design, develop, and manage RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components.
- Ensure the application is optimized for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, optimize performance, and improve application reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating closely with other developers, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and recommend improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in web development with the MERN stack.
- Backend: Proficient in Node.js, Express.js, and server-side development.
- Frontend: Strong experience with React.js, including hooks, state management (Redux, Context API).
- Database: Strong understanding of MongoDB, including schema design, data modeling, and queries.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- API Development: Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Deployment & CI/CD: Knowledge of deployment processes using platforms like AWS, Heroku, or DigitalOcean.
- Unit Testing: Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha for testing backend and frontend code.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Experience with Docker for containerization.
- Knowledge of front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, etc.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services and serverless architecture.
