Research Associate - Translational Biology

Experience (in Years) 1-5 years of experience in immunology, cell and molecular biology.

• To perform cell culture experiments, biological assays including immunological and molecular biology assays, data generation, analysis, and interpretation and report generation.
• To carefully execute various screening tools such as co-culture assays, combination with SOC, microscopy, cytotoxicity / viability, DNA/RNA/protein isolation, PCR, qPCR, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, western blot, ICW, reporter transactivation, and other quality testing parameters, etc. as per the guidelines and defined criteria by maintaining highest standards as a part of ongoing and upcoming Translational Biology programs
• To engage in biomarker experiments using DNA/RNA/protein samples.
• To support biological and translational studies comprising established pipeline of products and blood / PBMC derived from human healthy volunteers / patients to support the programs by following ethical practices and QMS as per compliance
• Experience in handling the instruments (Licor, Flow cytometry, Magpix, qPCR, Thermal cycler, Jess simple-western, ImageXpress Pico, electroporator, multimode plate reader, etc), reviewing, auditing and documentation including but not limited to batch Records, SOPs, work Instructions, validation protocols and instrument records
• To create Indents and purchase requisition for lab consumables, critical reagents, raw materials, etc required for the labs by actively involved in inventory management system
• To prepare and document SOPs and STPs pertaining to the program requirements
• Learn to troubleshoot experiments, analyse data (handling of GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, SnapGene, etc) and present in appropriate formats
• Adequate knowledge of systems and process pertaining to sterile practices, work ethics, safety, health, environment, and good laboratory practices
