Overview

Repin Masterbatches India Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to oversee and enhance our quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality control within the polymer and masterbatch industry, ensuring compliance with industry standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Management Systems (QMS): Lead the implementation and maintenance of QMS in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Product Development: Collaborate with the R&D department to develop new products, ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Colour Matching: Utilize advanced computerized colour matching systems (for machines Coperion, Steer, Kneader i.e. Konica Minolta, BYK, Xrite) to maintain colour standards and batch values.
• Testing and Compliance: Oversee mechanical testing of materials (PP, ABS, HIPS, SAN, PBT) using equipment such as UTM, Izod Impact tester, and MFI Tester. Ensure compliance with ISO and ASTM standards.
• Customer Standards: Maintain customer specifications and sample history to ensure product quality meets client expectations.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct investigations into product complaints; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the quality control team, fostering a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of testing results, quality reports, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Masters degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 years in quality control management within the polymer or colour masterbatch industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in computerized colour matching systems and quality testing equipment.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of Punjabi is a plus.
• Proficient in data management systems for effective reporting and information retrieval.
