Family Description

Customer Services (CS) covers customer service in different areas such as technical support, account support, operations, maintenance, network design / deployment / integration / transformation, and education. Generates revenue and the increase of customer satisfaction through planning, designing, deploying, integrating, optimising, operating, and maintaining phases.

Subfamily DescriptionCare (CAR) comprises the support of customers (in line with contractual service agreements) and internal Nokia stakeholders in pre- and post-sales activities with technical and non-technical topics, including first level contact with customers for software and hardware incidents or requests. Ensures readiness of service delivery and covers the provision of recommendations to product houses on design for serviceability aspects. Contains escalation of key issues to appropriate functions.

Knowledge & Experience

Established skills and knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline. Uses functionally specific knowledge. Typically 7 years directly related experience and a graduate equivalent degree.

• System Testing: Perform comprehensive tests on optical boards to diagnose and identify issues.
• Debugging: Identify and troubleshoot faults in optical products, focusing on both hardware and software components.
• Repair: Conduct repairs on faulty boards to restore them to full functionality.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of tests, diagnostics, and repairs performed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and departments to ensure efficient repair processes.
• Mentorship and Training: Provide technical training to internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop and improve testing and repair procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
