Outbound Holidays Manager

Role Overview:

The Outbound Holidays Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of outbound holiday operations. The role involves designing travel packages, managing a team, ensuring customer satisfaction, building partnerships with global service providers, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Package Development:

• Design and create unique outbound holiday packages tailored to various customer preferences.
• Conduct market research to identify trending destinations and travel experiences.
• Collaborate with service providers, including airlines, hotels, and local tour operators, to negotiate competitive rates.
  

2. Sales & Business Development:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
• Promote outbound travel packages through various channels, including online platforms, corporate networks, and travel exhibitions.
• Build and maintain a strong network of agents and travel partners to expand business reach.
  

3. Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of travel consultants and sales staff.
• Provide training and resources to enhance the teams skills and knowledge.
• Monitor team performance and ensure high levels of productivity and customer service.
  

4. Operations Management:

• Ensure smooth execution of outbound tours, including bookings, logistics, and customer support.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for international travel.
  

5. Customer Relationship Management:

• Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure personalized attention to every traveler.
• Conduct post-tour feedback sessions to improve service quality.
  

6. Financial Oversight:

• Prepare budgets and ensure cost control for outbound travel packages.
• Monitor revenue and profitability, taking corrective actions when necessary.
• Provide regular financial reports to management.
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in outbound travel operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of international travel destinations and trends.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in travel management software and MS Office Suite.
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
