DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (4-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Contract - 6 months and c2h

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management : Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

2. Containerization : Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, implementing best practices for orchestration and scaling.

3. CI/CD Implementation : Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins to streamline development and deployment processes.

4. Monitoring & Performance : Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems using Grafana and Prometheus to ensure system reliability and performance.

5. Version Control & Automation : Work with Git for source code management and implement automation for infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.

6. Security & Access Management : Utilize tools like CyberArk/Vault to manage secrets and access securely while ensuring compliance with best practices.

7. Scripting & Automation : Write and maintain scripts using Python for automation, infrastructure management, and operational tasks.

8. System Administration : Manage and maintain Linux/Unix systems, including RHEL, ensuring server health, patching, and optimization.

9. Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

1. 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and system administration.

2. Expertise in AWS, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.

3. Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and management.

4. Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.

5. Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.

6. Solid understanding of Git for version control and collaboration.

7. Experience with CyberArk or similar tools for secrets and credential management.

8. Strong system administration skills in Linux, Unix, and RHEL environments.

9. Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and operational tasks.

10. Experience in implementing and managing Blue-Green or Canary deployment strategies.

11. Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).

12. Familiarity with other DevOps tools such as Ansible or Chef.
