Roles and Responsibilities

Main responsibilities are:

i. Design of the Solar projects (DC + AC ), prepare Bill of materials, Technical Specification of

all BOM items following all Indian/International standards & norms, review and approval of

documents, sizing calculations, reports

ii. Planning and preparation of PV array layout with help of Autocad draftsman, positioning of

ICR Blocks in most optimize way, location of string inverters, combiner box, lightning

arrestors, routing of cables ( LT & HT), equipment placement, MCR building layout plan,

switchyard layout and all other related engineering works generally involved for any ground

mounted Solar project.

iii. Preparation of DC SLD, AC SLD, DSLP, Earthing, Cable sizing calculation.

iv. Daily interaction and communication with cross-functional team (Planning, procurement,

project manager and site personnel, Quality, and safety team

Profile & Eligible Criteria

At least overall 6-8 years and above experience in Solar project engineering Minimum educational

qualification should be BE or B.Tech in Electrical engineering

Candidate should have clear knowledge in all major equipments used in solar projects like Inverter

duty Transformer, Outdoor HT Panel , Indoor HT Panel, MCR layout, MCR equipments, Solar Inverter

(String and Central), AC combiner / DC combiner box, Solar Module , Module mounting structure, LT

and HT cables, earthing and lightning protection system etc

Communication skill

• Ability to communicate with cross functional roles is a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good presentation skills
