Job Description

Rene is looking for a QC Executive who collaborates closely with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Facilities, Materials Management, Regulatory Affairs and Process Development. The individual must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment with strict adherence to timelines.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control Executive (Pharmaceutical Industry)
• Ensure timely sampling and testing of raw materials, packaging, and finished products per specifications.
• Perform analysis on raw materials and finished products using STP’s
• Conduct Out of Specification (OOS) investigations and stability studies for new/existing products.
• Monitor lab personnel performance
• Plan and organize microbial monitoring with QA and Production teams.
• Maintain and ensure regular calibration, validation, and qualification of equipment.
• QC analyses and development of scientifically valid testing procedures and specifications.
• Related substances testing
• Review pharmacopoeia methods, GMP/GLP practices, and QC functions.
• Lead self-inspections and inspections by regulatory agencies
• Oversee QMS compliance, risk assessments, and corrective actions for QC-related deviations.
• Support production with deviation investigations, audits, and complaints.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in QC functions and advise product development teams on testing needs.
• Manage training for QC team, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Ensure compliance with documentation policies, review and draft relevant procedures, and maintain a cGMP/GLP-controlled documentation system.
• Be proficient in operating HPLC, UV-Vis, IR, Wet Lab Procedures, Analytical Methods.
• Be an integral part of internal and external FDA audits

Qualification : Minimum - Bachelors in Chemistry/ Pharma from reputable university/college
