Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the production of tablets and capsules within our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility either in our beta-lactam facility or non-beta lactam facility (general block). This role requires a strong understanding of GMP regulations, excellent organizational skills, commitment to quality assurance and focus on output targets set by higher management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations for the manufacturing of tablets and capsules.
• Coordinate production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize efficiency.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with GMP standards and quality specifications.
• Supervise and train production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
• Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
• Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and control inventory of raw materials and finished products.
• Prepare and analyze production reports to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Required Skill Set

• Proven experience (5+ years) in pharmaceutical production, specifically in tablet and capsule manufacturing. (beta lactam and non-beta lactam)
• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Must read and write English fluently.
• Ability to work well in a team and lead production staff effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts as needed
