About The Role :
Accenture is seeking an experienced GIS Consultant/Manager with expertise in ESRIs ArcGIS platform. The GIS Consultant/Manager will play a key role in leveraging spatial data to support decision-making processes and provide innovative solutions to clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in GIS technology, project management, and client engagement.
Collaborate with client challenges to solve complex client problems such as regulatory reforms and implementation.Define and manage the organization change with reference to process, technology and organization structure.Manage transformation project to migrate from legacy to target.Assess as-is process and suggest best industry practices to come up with to-be processes and implement them to remove inefficiencies.Support data governanceand management and help optimize operations and drive business decision-making.Support in development of collateral, methodology refinements, best practices updates and trends tracking, create and support proposals incorporating Accenture value proposition.Incorporate Accenture best practices and help develop methodologies into every stage of the project management lifecycle.GIS Project Management: Lead GIS projects from conception to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Coordinate project resources, timelines, and budgets. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Utility Network Model:Lead Utility Network (UN) modeling of network connectivity, asset management, and analysis of flow, helping utilities efficiently plan, operate, and maintain their infrastructure.Spatial Analysis and Mapping: Conduct spatial analysis using ESRIs ArcGIS software to solve complex geographic problems. Create, update, and maintain geospatial databases and maps. Generate thematic maps and spatial reports to support decision-making.Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their GIS needs and requirements. Provide consulting and advisory services to clients, offering GIS solutions tailored to their specific challenges. Build and maintain strong client relationships.Data Management: Manage and maintain GIS data, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency. Perform data acquisition, integration, and conversion tasks. Develop data models and schemas.Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to clients and internal staff in the use of ArcGIS software and GIS tools. Create training materials and documentation.Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control and quality assurance checks on GIS projects and data. Identify and resolve data and process issues.Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in GIS. Continuously update knowledge of ESRIs ArcGIS platform.Bring your best skills forward to excel in the role:

Your experience counts!
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field.Proven experience in GIS consulting and project management.Proficiency in ESRI's ArcGIS software suite, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap.Strong spatial analysis and cartographic skills.Knowledge of geodatabase design and management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesProject management certification (e.g., PMP) (Optional)2+ Years of experience in GIS consulting and project management.2+Years of hands-on experience with ESRI's ArcGIS platform.Whats in it for you?
