Sr.Remote sensing Engineer

The suitable candidate for this job profile should entail expertise and zeal in remote sensing product development as well as report writing. The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in the remote sensing domain preferably in agriculture-based companies or BFSI as a target client/audience. The candidates with exposure to working in a startup environment will be preferred. The candidate needs to be a team player having the capability to work with a cross-functional team and improve or create product-based client requirements

Required Experience and skill

• At least 3 years of experience in remote sensing domain/PhD in Remote sensing.
• Experience of working in product development for agriculture input, output or insurance sector
• Strong knowledge of Python/R
• Report writing
• Experience in open source tools such as QGIS, GRASS

• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with high growth.
• Highly Organised and skilled in time management and prioritizing ability.
• Experience of working in a start-up environment.
• Sense of responsibility in task completion and dependability.
• Proficient in communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in working with Microwave satellite data.
• Experience in Ubuntu or any UNIX based OS.

• Day in and day out working on programming to automate the processing.
• Developing remote sensing based products such as soil moisture, evapotranspiration, crop classification.
• Organise data, code, clean up pipeline, and produce weekly reporting.
• Update the code regularly to git and document the code regularly.
• Improving the existing products based on the latest literature
• Actively involved in writing reports.
• Coordinate with the sales team in terms of improvisation of existing products and or developing new features/complete products based on the feedback received.
• Enable critical decision-making by aligning and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Post Graduation In Remote Sensing Or Related Field.
