The Communications and Engagement Specialist will play a key role in crafting and executing strategic communication plans that enhance executive visibility, drive employee engagement, and promote effective internal communications within the organization. Collaborating closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams, this role will focus on delivering compelling messages, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring consistent internal communication across the company. Key Responsibilities:
Executive Communications:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic communication plans that reinforce key messages, promote transparency, and align with business objectives.
Draft executive speeches, presentations, and talking points, ensuring messaging is consistent and reflective of the organization s brand voice.
Conduct research to support executive communication and gather insights to inform messaging.
Manage executive communication channels such as newsletters, blogs, and internal announcements.
Employee Engagement:
Design and implement employee engagement programs that cultivate a positive, inclusive, and dynamic workplace culture.
Develop and execute internal communication strategies that effectively inform, engage, and motivate employees across all communication channels.
Coordinate and manage employee events, town halls, and other engagement activities to enhance connectivity across teams.
Monitor employee sentiment through surveys and other tools, using feedback to propose and implement actionable improvements.
Internal Communications:
Create and oversee the execution of an internal communications strategy to ensure consistent, clear, and timely information flow across the organization.
Develop and manage various internal communication channels, including the intranet, email newsletters, and digital displays.
Draft, edit, and distribute internal communication materials such as memos, announcements, and organizational updates.
Collaborate with different departments to gather information and ensure that communication is accurate and resonates with its intended audience.
Content Development:
Produce engaging and compelling content for a variety of communication channels, including written, visual, and multimedia formats.
Edit and proofread communication materials for clarity, consistency, and adherence to the organization s tone and style guidelines.
Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of communication initiatives.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in executive communications and employee engagement to continuously refine strategies.
Qualifications:
bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
7-8 years of experience in executive communications, employee engagement, or internal communications, preferably within large, matrixed organizations. Experience with Global Capability Centers is a plus.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to design and execute communication strategies that align with organizational goals and drive engagement.
Proficiency in communication tools and platforms such as intranet systems, design tools, email marketing software, and digital signage.
Knowledge of best practices in employee engagement, internal communications, and change management.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems.
