Responsibilities
Lead Reservoir Engineering
- Plan & guide Reservoir Engineering Activities for Exploration Support
- Plan and execute the Reservoir modelling and simulation studies; Carry out production history matching
- Plan and conduct well testing operation at well site and analyze results
- Prepare monthly production plan and monitor production activities; analyze production data including reserves register maintenance
- Conduct well testing for estimation of reservoir parameters
- Prepare data input sets on CBM reservoir parameters and model in consultation with Geologists
- Conduct reservoir simulation using Comet3/ Eclipse/ Petrel RE simulator for single/ group of wells
- Conduct parametric simulation studies by varying critical reservoir parameters and operational parameters
- Plan & guide Field Optimization Activities for Producing Assets, Improved Recovery Methods, etc. & QA / QC all inputs & outputs
- Prepare short-term and long-term production forecasting
- Guide RE staff & execute RE activities associated with JV Assets such production monitoring /analysis, Analysis of well & field Performance, Analysis of Well Intervention Opportunities, Analysis of new infill wells / revisions to field development plan, Work Programme / Budget, JV Proposal Analysis etc
- Implement techno-economic analysis

Metrics that are used to evaluate the success / performance of the role; specific targets do not need to be included as those would change from Y-o-Y
- Measures related to the accuracy and consistency of the classical RE analysis, reservoir simulation and characterization work, production forecasts utilized for Annual & long term plan, and timely and quality of other RE/subsurface evaluations related to exploration & development assets.
- Projects delivered within agreed cost, schedule, quality, HSE performance and technical specifications

Education Qualifications
Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Petroleum Engineering from a recognized university
Experience (Must Have)
8-12 years of experience specific in development/ production operations
