Ensure that CBTC systems meet safety, operational, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, software development, etc) and external vendors to integrate CBTC with other train control, signaling, and communication systems.
Lead CBTC-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team of engineers and technicians working on CBTC systems.
Develop and track project timelines, achievements, deliverables, reporting progress to senior management.
Lead testing and commissioning activities for CBTC-systems, including functional, integration, and performance tests.
Address any issues identified during testing and work closely with multi-functional teams to resolve them.
Ensure systems are stays in sync with local and international standards (eg, IEEE, IEC).
Provide technical support for the operational deployment of CBTC-systems, ensuring system reliability and fixing as needed.
Lead root cause analysis for any operational failures or issues related to CBTC systems.
Develop and implement maintenance and upgrade strategies for CBTC systems.
Ensure CBTC systems are designed and operated in compliance with safety laws and industry standards.
Conduct safety assessments and risk management procedures to minimize operational disruptions and hazards.
Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable laws and ensure that the CBTC implementations meet all required certifications.
Serve as the primary point of contact for collaborators, including project sponsors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for senior management, regulatory agencies, and other customers.
Participate in meetings to discuss system performance, upgrades, and enhancements.
Find opportunities for system optimization and cost-effective enhancements to improve train performance and network capacity.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in train control systems, including CBTC, automation, and digital signaling.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field. Professional certification in CBTC or similar systems is a plus.
At least 5-7 years of experience in CBTC systems, train control, or related railway signaling systems.
Experience in managing or leading CBTC-related projects.
Strong technical background in the design, integration, and testing of signaling and control systems.
Expertise in CBTC technologies, including train-to-track communication, real-time data transmission, and system integration.
Proficiency in relevant tools (eg, simulation software, troubleshooting tools, and diagnostic equipment).
Knowledge of railway operations, signaling, and communications standards.
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with project management methodologies (eg, Agile, Waterfall) and tools (eg, Microsoft Project, Jira).
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Ability to of working effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
