Purchase Order Executive - Supply Chain - RIL - Navi Mumbai

JOB PROFILE

Responsible for developing vendors for Indirect and general procurement. Negotiating and finalizing Purchase orders/ Work Orders for General and indirect works (Warehousing, Logistics, Consultancy Agency, Marketing activities, Taxi and security servicers etc.). Managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that procurement activities align with the procurement standard operating processes and policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of procurement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vendors Scouting, Onboarding and Development: Scout vendor as per requirement, ensure strong relationship with suppliers for getting favourable terms for RIL.

Negotiation and order issuance: Sending RFQs, discussion and negotiation, coordination for compliances and internal approvals. Issuance of order thru ERP. Follow up to ensure on time PO to Payment process.

Cost Reduction: Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive initiatives to achieve savings targets.

MIS: Prepare, maintain and circulate daily MIS on progress and updates on procurement and delivery activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Graduate in any field.

Strong knowledge of procurement and contracts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.

Proficiency in procurement ERP (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of integrity and ethical standards.
