Appian Developer

We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing applications using the Appian platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of BPM (Business Process Management) and excellent problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality solutions for our business needs.

1. Application Development:
• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end Appian BPM applications, including interfaces, process models, and SAIL forms.
• Translate business requirements into functional workflows and solutions.
2. System Integration:
• Integrate Appian with external systems using APIs, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and other relevant tools.
• Develop and manage Appian Plug-ins.
3. Performance Optimization:
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bottlenecks.
4. Collaboration:
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
5. Documentation:
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
• Maintain proper version control of applications.
6. Quality Assurance:
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions by adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Perform unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• Strong hands-on experience with Appian 19.x and above, including process design, forms, SAIL coding, and Appian plugins.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, and other relevant programming languages for custom integration.
• Experience with Appian Records, Sites, and Actions.
• API & Integration:
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of Appian AppMarket components and reusable solutions.
• Database:
• Experience with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Proficient in creating complex queries and database interactions.
• Tools & Frameworks:
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
