Blockchain Platforms and Crypto Engineering Technical Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Manager to lead our Blockchain Platforms & Crypto Engineering team. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering, blockchain technologies, and financial compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Golang, Java, and Python, along with experience managing high-performing engineering teams in product-based companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 10-20 engineers, driving the design and development of scalable blockchain solutions.
• Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring best practices in coding, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust crypto platforms that align with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Architect and implement high-performance, secure, and scalable blockchain solutions on cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
• Drive multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Must-Have Skills:

• 10-20 years of software engineering experience with expertise in Golang, Java, and Python.
• 10-12 years of hands-on software development experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, managing 10-20 engineers.
• Previous experience working in top-tier product companies such as Coinbase, Bitcoin, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley, etc.
• Strong understanding of blockchain platforms and distributed systems.
• Expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with compliance workflows such as KYC/KYB, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and Customer Onboarding.
• Knowledge of Identity Platforms and integrations with compliance solutions like KYT (Transaction Monitoring) and Travel Rule compliance.
