🌟 About the Role:

As a Category In-Charge, youll play a critical role in optimizing sales for a product category.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

Financial:

• Minimize stock-outs, lost sales, and stock misdistribution.
• Monitor articles for sales throughput and liquidate slow-moving inventory.
• Propose market-comparable promotional schemes.

Customer-Oriented:

• Conduct portfolio analysis and maintain a balanced article ratio.
• Revise inventory norms seasonally.
• Perform price-point analysis to optimize product mix.
• Enhance product visibility via regular visual merchandising checks.

People-Oriented:

• Lead and mentor category in-charges to drive performance.

Internal Business Process:

• Plan materials and ensure stock availability for new store openings.

Quantitative:
✅ 100% stock availability
✅ Daily monitoring of stock requirements and overall inventory
✅ Active involvement in NPD and portfolio management

💡 Who Are We Looking For?

Education: MBA in Retail Management
Experience: 5–7 years in sales (Footwear/FMCG preferred)

Skills:

• Strategic Thinking
• Geographical Distribution Knowledge
• Product Evaluation and Warehouse Management
• Sales and Order Forecasting

Behavioral Competencies:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Leadership and team management abilities
