Position Title: Manager Projects (Civil Engineering & Interiors)

Grade: M3
Reporting To: Head – Projects
Reporting By: Officer – Projects

Key Requirements

Educational Qualification:

• Full-time B.E. in Civil Engineering with 1st Division.

Experience:

• 10–12 years of experience in handling projects such as corporate offices, retail outlets, factories, warehouses, and high-end luxury developments.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or equivalent project management software.
• Knowledge of construction and interior design standards, materials, and methods.
• Expertise in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and vendor negotiation.

Behavioral Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure situations effectively.

Role Overview

The Manager – Projects will oversee and execute civil engineering and interior projects, including corporate offices, retail outlets, factories, warehouses, and high-end luxury developments. This role demands expertise in project planning, execution, and delivering high-quality outcomes within timelines and budgets. The candidate will lead a team, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management

1. Conceptualization & Design: Collaborate with architects, consultants, and interior designers to finalize layouts and project designs.
2. Budgeting: Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial objectives.
3. Scheduling: Develop project timelines and ensure adherence to schedules for timely delivery.

Execution & Monitoring

1. Oversee construction and interior works, ensuring quality standards and efficient execution.
2. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to streamline resources and materials.
3. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with designs, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Stakeholder Management

1. Liaise with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and legal, for seamless project execution.
2. Engage with clients and senior management to provide regular updates on project status.

Compliance and Reporting

1. Ensure adherence to statutory and environmental regulations during project implementation.
2. Prepare project status reports, documentation, and presentations for management review.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel extensively to monitor projects in Delhi/NCR and other locations.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, quality assurance processes, and project management methodologies.
