Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Database Developer to join our team in Pune . This will be a hybrid role that required 3 days a week in our office located in Amar Tech Park.
- Database Development Integration: Design, develop, and maintain databases, and collaborate with backend software developers to integrate database solutions effectively.
- Script Writing Data Management: Create and optimize SQL/NoSQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries to facilitate efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for system data.
- Application Performance Monitoring: Implement and utilize APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools to enhance the observability and performance of database solutions.
- Scrum Team Collaboration: Actively participate in Scrum team activities, collaborating effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Engage with various stakeholders to ensure the successful operation and alignment of database solutions with organizational objectives .
- Bachelor s degree in information technology , Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is required .
- 7+ years of experience working in cloud-based RDBMS re quired .
- Strong hands-on database development and administration skills.
- Excellent hands-on skill s in developing stored procedures and ability to work with API developers to integrate DB with backend systems.
- M ultiple years of experience in working on PostgreSQL and/or MYSQ or similar relational database required .
- Demonstrated u nderstand ing of tuning the database using Archival, sharding, partitioning techniques.
- Experience manag ing massive datasets and tuned performance of distributed DB management over cloud.
- CI/CD tools: Strong day to day practice of working with GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, GitLab etc.
- Experience working in a fast-paced work environment and maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience building data ingestion pipelines.
- AWS Database specialty certification preferred.
- Exposure to columnar and graph databased preferred.
