Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Blockchain Developer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative blockchain technologies and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions for our clients across diverse industries such as Finance, Public Sector, Retail, and Transport. This position offers a chance to dive deep into blockchain technology, learn from experienced professionals, and work on live projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of modules, products, or projects assigned to you, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Learn and implement new technologies, frameworks, libraries, and networks at a rapid pace.
• Work on providing optimal solutions to complex business problems.
• Collaborate with clients and customers to gather feedback and implement improvements.
• Write clean, efficient code and contribute to open-source projects or others code.
• Research, design, develop, and test blockchain technologies.
• Continuously evaluate and brainstorm new tools and technologies for improving blockchain applications.
• Maintain and extend client- and server-side applications, ensuring smooth integration and robust business logic.
• Assist with setting up and configuring full node clients for various blockchains.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in blockchain networks, including forks, mainnet launches, and migrations.
• Document architecture, code, and best practices.
• Always look for opportunities to enhance technology by building new tools, utilities, and libraries.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Strong understanding of at least two blockchain networks such as Ethereum, Hedera Hashgraph, Tezos, Hyperledger, Algorand, or Corda.
• Experience working with DevOps to build scalable and robust blockchain infrastructure.
• Proficiency in designing and writing APIs in Node.js for blockchain infrastructure integration.
• Familiarity with basic cryptography and peer-to-peer (P2P) networks.
• Familiar with tools like Solidity, Truffle, and Geth.
• Familiarity with ERC20 token standard and smart contract integration.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming languages. Experience with C, Go, Java, or JavaScript is preferred.
• Knowledge of Node.js is an added advantage.
• Comfortable using Linux platforms (Ubuntu) and working with GitHub.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, having worked as part of a sprint team.
• Ability and eagerness to learn cloud lifecycle software development models.
• A passion for customer-facing software architecture and cloud-based software development.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in planning, designing, and QA testing token mechanics.
• Knowledge of blockchain systems architecture and best practices.
• Experience with blockchain backend and smart contract integration.
• Familiarity with AWS, Digital Ocean, or similar cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of extreme programming principles.
• Exposure to Ethereum, Hyperledger, or other blockchain platforms, either through self-study or coursework.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and front-end development.
• Experience working with design thinking techniques and iterative sprints.
