Purchase Manager (Export) of Finished Formulated Medicines

Position Summary:

The Purchase Manager (Export) of Finished Formulated Medicines will oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely acquisition of pharmaceutical products across various human therapeutic segments and dosage forms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical procurement (export) and will be responsible for coordinating artwork development and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Management:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies for pharmaceutical finished products.

- Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement.

- CBM calculation and knowledge of finished dosage forms.

2. Negotiation Skills:

- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to optimize costs and terms.

- Maintain a robust pool of manufacturers for efficient sourcing.

3. Artwork Coordination:

- Collaborate with designers to develop and finalize product artwork.

- Ensure compliance with branding and regulatory requirements.

4. Logistics Management:

- Manage logistics from manufacturers to Indian ports, ensuring timely deliveries.

- Prepare and maintain the CBM (Cubic Meter) sheet for shipments.

5. Cross-Department Coordination:

- Work closely with other departments, including finance and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations.

- Exhibit strong multitasking abilities to manage various procurement tasks simultaneously.

Essential Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a purchasing role within the pharmaceutical sector.

- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical products, human therapeutic segments, and dosage forms.

Skills:

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Proficient in coordinating with multiple departments and managing timelines.
