Role & Responsibilities:

• Research on Industry-related trends affecting our clients. Deep understanding of industry market trends, technology trends and industry best practices.
• Evaluate research methodology and key information to ensure that data on our in-house portal releases are accurate.
• Use online market research and catalog findings to databases. Source the relevant and accurate information through secondary and primary research.
• Proactive Research on firms & portfolio companies creating intelligence pack for deep understanding of organization, operations, strengths, opportunities, strategy, market sizing, competitor benchmarking, supply chain analysis for various clients including large corporations and professional service firms etc. to enable GTM activities.
• Collecting data on consumers, competitors and marketplace and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations.
• Understand research objectives based on client type and accordingly follow a work approach, interpret and analyze information for accuracy, exhaustiveness and applicability.
• Compiling and analyzing large volumes of data using modern and traditional methods to collect it.
• Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Handle a team of 3-5 RAs and JRAs.

Must Have:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking with ability to interpret and visualize large amounts of data .
• Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc) as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis of data.
• Experience in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is a PLUS.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent Knowledge of databases such as Avention, D&B Hoovers, DiscoverOrg, Zoominfo etc.
• Sound web/Google search - understand boolean search.
• Good in primary skills - ability to connect with executives at highest level and draw insights.
• Should be well versed data analysis and visualization using MS Office suite - esp. Powerpoint, Excel and Word. Experience in Advanced Excel is a PLUS.
• Cultural values of Ownership. Responsible for end-to-end client delivery and taking accountability for quality work.
• Good understanding of industry dynamics such as KPIs and frameworks such as SWOT analysis, Porters Five Forces; strong domain knowledge of his core subject/specialization area (educational as well as work experience).
• Creative outlook and ability to think of multiple approaches to address a problem.
• Motivated, fast thinking, dynamic person with strong business acumen.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven Market research analysis experience of min. 5 – 8+ years.
• BS/BTech/BE Degree preferred with domain experience: IT/Technology.
