Job Description

We are looking for candidates with 7+ years of experience as Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team, focusing on building, analyzing, and optimizing data-driven insights for our enterprise data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Data Platform Architect and a team of data engineers, analysts, and report developers to transform raw data into actionable insights and ensure data accessibility for decision-making across the organization. You will play a key role in interpreting data, generating reports, and assisting in building sophisticated analytics solutions that drive business outcomes.

Job Description

Data Analysis & Insights: Lead the analysis of complex datasets, turning raw data into actionable insights that support business decision-making. Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams (including data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders) to gather requirements, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop reporting dashboards and data models.
Data Quality & Validation: Oversee data quality, ensuring that the data flowing through the platform is accurate, consistent, and reliable. Conduct regular audits and data validation processes to maintain the integrity of the data.
Data Modeling & Transformation: Collaborate with data engineers to develop data models and optimize the organization s data warehouse. Perform data transformations using SQL, BigQuery, and other ETL tools to prepare data for analysis.
Advanced Analytics: Apply advanced analytical techniques, including statistical analysis, regression modeling, and predictive analytics, to generate deeper insights and help identify business opportunities.
Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting for various business departments, offering data-driven recommendations for operational improvements, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities.
Optimization & Automation: Work with the team to streamline and automate recurring reports and dashboards. Implement solutions to improve data processing and reporting efficiency.
Documentation & Best Practices: Document analysis processes, data models, and reporting structures. Establish best practices for data analysis, reporting, and visualization to ensure consistency and efficiency across the team.

Certifications :

Experience working in a cloud-first environment and familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems (GCP preferred).
Advanced certifications in data analytics, cloud platforms, or related fields (e.g., Google Professional Data Engineer, Google Cloud Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals).

Primary Skills :

Strong Data Analytics Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a proven track record in analyzing complex datasets, generating insights, and developing reports and dashboards.
GCP Experience: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage. Experience working with cloud-based data environments and integrating data from multiple sources.
Advanced SQL & Data Transformation: Proficient in SQL and working with large datasets in cloud platforms (especially BigQuery). Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and aggregation to make data ready for analysis.
Business Acumen: Strong ability to translate business requirements into data-driven insights and to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
Programming/Scripting Skills: Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or JavaScript to conduct advanced analytics or automation tasks is a plus.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in ensuring data accuracy and quality. Ability to troubleshoot data issues and propose solutions.
Collaboration & Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Secondary Skills :

Cloud Analytics Tools: Familiarity with other cloud analytics tools such as Apache Beam, Google Cloud Dataproc, or Google Pub/Sub.
Machine Learning Knowledge: Exposure to machine learning concepts and their application in analytics is a plus. Familiarity with tools like Vertex AI for integrating machine learning with analytics platforms.
Experience with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management and iterative development of analytics projects.
Domain Knowledge: Experience in healthcare domain to better understand business requirements and data needs.
