Job Description :

- 3+ years of professional experience in Power BI development.

- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

- Proficiency in Power Query for data cleaning and combining data from various sources.

- Strong understanding of Power BI's calculation functionalities, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

Responsibilities include :

- Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for dashboards and reports.

- Optimize and improve existing Power BI solutions for better performance and usability.

- Conduct data analysis and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

- Integrate Power BI with various data sources and ensure seamless data flow.

- Work closely with data engineers and other team members to ensure data quality and consistency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Document technical specifications, processes, and user guides for developed solutions.

Certifications :

- Desirable to have certifications in Data Analysis/ SQL/ PowerBI/ Tableau.

Primary Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.

- 3+ years of professional experience in Power BI development.

- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

- Proficiency in Power Query for data cleaning and combining data from various sources.

- Strong understanding of Power BI's calculation functionalities, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

- Experience with integrating Power BI with various data sources such as SQL databases, cloud data sources, and APIs.

- Excellent knowledge of SQL for querying and transforming data to be used in Power BI.

- Proven ability to optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability.

- Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.

- Experience in facilitating report sharing and collaboration within an organization.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and convey complex data insights through Power BI.

Secondary Skills :

- Certification in Power BI (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).

- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).

- Knowledge of programming languages (like Python).

- Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
