Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Technology Officer to join our leadership team. As a key member of our executive team, the CTO will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our technology strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the effective use of technology across the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in technology leadership, with experience in designing and leading digital strategies, process automation, and AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy:
- Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Integrate emerging technologies (AI, IoT, Cloud, Blockchain) to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Digital Transformation Leadership:
- Lead enterprise-wide digital initiatives aligned with corporate and business-specific goals.
- Evaluate in-house development vs. vendor outsourcing for digital projects based on feasibility and ROI.
ERP and Systems Implementation:
- Drive ERP implementation projects for seamless integration across financial, supply chain, and operational workflows.
- Ensure systems are optimized for scalability and cross-functional alignment.
Digital Analytics and Intelligence:
- Deploy analytics platforms for actionable insights and strategic decision-making.
- Implement centralized dashboards for real-time performance monitoring.
IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity:
- Build and modernize IT infrastructure for resilience and operational uptime.
- Oversee cybersecurity protocols and conduct regular risk assessments.
Process Automation:
- Automate key workflows using AI, Machine Learning, and RPA technologies.
- Optimize processes for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Project Management and Execution:
- Oversee digital project portfolios, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Implement project management tools for transparency and accountability.
Talent Development and Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing digital team, focusing on continuous skill development.
- Partner with HR to attract and retain top digital talent.
Vendor and Partnership Management:
- Foster strategic partnerships with vendors and technology consultants.
- Regularly evaluate vendor performance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Governance and Compliance:
- Establish governance frameworks for digital initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
Decision-Making for Implementation Models:
- Assess in-house vs. outsourced models for digital projects.
- Ensure cost-effective and scalable execution strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with finance, operations, HR, and IT teams for seamless digital tool integration.
- Foster a culture of interdisciplinary innovation.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor KPIs for digital projects to ensure strategic alignment.
- Provide real-time reporting dashboards to senior leadership.
Tools and Technology Proficiency:
- Oversee adoption of ERP, CRM, analytics tools, and workflow automation platforms.
- Promote integration of technical platforms for seamless operations.
Requirements:
Educational Background:
- Education: MBA or Master's Degree in Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in digital transformation, technology strategy, or IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity in a large or diversified organization.
- Proven experience in leading enterprise-wide digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, Big Data, RPA, Cloud Computing).
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
- Demonstrated success in aligning digital initiatives with business objectives.
Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in large-scale ERP deployments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) across multiple industries.
- Strong background in business intelligence and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Hands-on experience in implementing enterprise-grade dashboards for business performance tracking.
- Expertise in web and platform development technologies, including CMS tools and digital front-end frameworks.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g, Asana, Jira etc.).
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture, cloud systems (AWS, Azure), and enterprise networking.
- Strong command of cybersecurity best practices, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and threat mitigation tools.
Experience:
- 15+ years of leadership experience in digital transformation and IT strategy roles.
- Demonstrated success in leading technology deployments across multiple business verticals.
- Track record of executing complex technology projects with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in managing vendor partnerships and technology procurement.
