Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities of Data Scientist:

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
• Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data-driven solutions and requirements.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preprocessing to ensure data quality and usability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data practices.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Familiarity with SQL and experience in querying databases.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an advantage.
