We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach Scrum Master to lead our organizations agile transformation initiatives and establish sustainable agile practices across our Technology group. This role combines hands-on scrum mastery, agile coaching, metrics-driven process improvement, and JIRA administration responsibilities. You will be responsible for evangelizing Agile best practices by educating colleagues, coaching teams, and collaborating with leaders on the Agile adoption strategy across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Agile Transformation Coaching Leadership:
o Lead Agile transformation initiatives across the organization, ensuring teams and leadership embrace Agile principles
o Foster and encourage an Agile mindset shift at all levels, from top leadership to individual team members
o Design and execute agile transformation strategies tailored to different team contexts and needs
o Mentor and develop Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members, empowering them to resolve conflicts and manage dependencies
o Build an environment of trust and collaboration, encouraging teams to self-organize and innovate
o Identify and remove impediments to team productivity and agile adoption
Ceremony Process Management:
o Establish and facilitate core agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews
o Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized and well-defined backlog for sprint planning
o Own and optimize the Scrum of Scrums process to ensure effective cross-team coordination
o Implement and maintain agile artifacts and tools
o Drive continuous improvement of agile processes based on team feedback and metrics
o Guide teams in applying Lean principles to eliminate inefficiencies
JIRA Administration Management:
o Own and manage JIRA administration responsibilities including user management, permissions, and security
o Configure and optimize JIRA Core workflows, boards, and projects
o Set up and maintain JIRA Service Management processes and workflows
o Design and implement roadmaps using JIRA Advanced Roadmaps
o Create and maintain custom dashboards and reports
o Provide training and support for JIRA tools across the organization
o Implement best practices for JIRA usage and governance
o Manage integrations between JIRA and other tools in the ecosystem
Technical Skills:
o Expertise in JIRA Core, Service Management, and Advanced Roadmaps
o Proficient in JIRA administration, configuration, and customization
o Advanced knowledge of JIRA Query Language (JQL)
o Skilled in Agile project management tools and methodologies
o Strong capabilities in dashboard creation, reporting, and data visualization
o Experienced in workflow design, optimization, and automation
o Familiarity with Asana and other project management platforms
Stakeholder Management Leadership Collaboration:
o Work closely with leadership to set Agile goals that align with business strategies
o Track and report key Agile metrics to stakeholders on project progress
o Engage with product, engineering, and leadership teams
o Ensure proper project documentation and communication
o Support release planning and coordination
o Facilitate resource allocation and capacity planning
Team Empowerment Development:
o Create and nurture a collaborative culture across teams.
o Provide guidance on resolving conflicts and dependencies.
o Coach teams through organizational change and transformation.

Job Requirements
Expertise in both Agile Coaching and Scrum Mastery, with hands-on experience implementing Agile methodologies.
Strong facilitation skills to lead effective Scrum ceremonies and team collaboration.
Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks.
Proven track record of coaching teams through Agile transformation and scaling Agile across an organization.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skilled in using Agile tools such as Jira, Asana or similar project management platforms.
Strong leadership qualities and ability to influence without authority.
Experience with Agile metrics, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
Education and Experience
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field
10+ years of experience in Agile environments
Expert-level proficiency in JIRA Core, JIRA Service Management, and Advanced Roadmaps
Minimum 5 years of JIRA administration experience
Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
Additional certifications preferred: Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), JIRA Administrator Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP)
Strong facilitation skills for leading effective Scrum ceremonies
Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks
Experience with scaled agile implementations (SAFe or similar frameworks)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to influence without authority
Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams
