DevOps Manager - AWS Infrastructure (7-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.

- Develop and implement DevOps strategies, processes, and tools to improve deployment speed, scalability, and reliability.

- Design and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) and on-premises data centers, ensuring high availability and scalability.

- Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Architect and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.

- Work with development teams to integrate CI/CD best practices into software workflows.

- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack to ensure system reliability.

- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues to ensure minimum downtime.

- Oversee database management systems, particularly Postgres, ensuring optimized performance, backups, and security.

- Drive automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, and operations) to align DevOps practices with organizational goals.

- Implement security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and deployments.

- Ensure systems are compliant with company and industry standards for data protection and operational excellence.

Requirements :

- Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.

- Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration.

- Linux systems administration. CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Strong knowledge of Postgres database management systems.

- Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS) and on-premise data centers.

- Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

- Solid understanding of automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC solutions.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

- Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).

- Exposure to logging and monitoring tools like ELK Stack or Datadog.

- Certification in AWS or Kubernetes (e.g., CKA, AWS Solutions Architect).

- Experience with security tools and practices for DevSecOps.
