Automation Test Engineer - Selenium (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

Role : QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium Webdriver and Typescript to verify the functionality of web applications

2. Design and implement automated test cases to cover positive and negative scenarios to ensure the quality of the software

3. Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and ensure that test automation aligns with the software development cycle

4. Work closely with the QA team to identify test cases that can be automated and create a robust automation test suite

5. Execute automated tests in different environments and configurations to validate software functionality

6. Participate in code reviews to ensure that automation scripts are well-structured, maintainable, and scalable

7. Analyze test results and report defects in a timely manner, providing detailed information for the development team to debug and fix issues

8. Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to increase efficiency and coverage of automated testing

9. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in test automation to incorporate best practices into the testing process

10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality standards are met and deliver high-quality software to end-users.
