Senior Backend Engineer - Node.js/TypeScript (7-11 yrs)

Role : Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities :

1. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex backend systems using Node.js and Typescript, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

2. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and provide input on system architecture and design.

3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and industry standards.

4. Conduct code reviews, provide feedback to team members, and mentor junior engineers to help them improve their skills and grow professionally.

5. Identify and resolve technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and system issues to ensure optimal system performance.

6. Implement security measures and best practices to protect sensitive data and prevent potential security threats.

7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and techniques to enhance system performance and reliability.

8. Participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives, to deliver high-quality software solutions on time.

9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address feature requests, bug fixes, and technical debt.

10. Proactively communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure alignment on technical decisions, priorities, and project goals.
