Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning (10-12 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team.

This role is crucial for developing sophisticated recommendation engine ML models and utilizing Databricks for feature engineering and model development.

The candidate will have the opportunity to work in the exciting field of Travel and Hospitality, leveraging advanced data science techniques to drive significant business impact.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models with a focus on recommendation engines to enhance user experience and business outcomes.

- Perform feature engineering, model development, and testing using Databricks.

- Manage data workflows and pipelines utilizing Databricks and Unity Catalog for efficient data governance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning.

- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to team knowledge sharing and growth.

Core Requirements :

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data science with a proven track record of successful projects.

- Strong expertise in the development and deployment of recommendation engine ML models.

- Proficient in using Databricks for feature engineering and model development.

- Experience in the Travel and Hospitality sector is highly desirable.

- Good understanding of data governance principles and experience with Unity Catalog.

- Databricks certification is a plus.

Qualifications :

- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

- Demonstrated experience in Python, SQL, and other data science tools and libraries.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Interview Process :
