Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Generate challans, create e-way bills, and perform regular stock reconciliation.
• Manage GST filings (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B) and ensure compliance.
• Handle TDS returns and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
• Reconcile bank statements on a regular basis.
• Oversee vendor payments and maintain payment schedules.
• Conduct stock audits and maintain accurate stock registers.
• Manage employee attendance, payroll, and salary processing, including ESI, PF, PT, etc.
• Ensure timely compliance with all statutory requirements and deadlines.
• Manage cash deposits and perform cash reconciliation.
• Maintain work order records for smooth tracking and reporting.
• Demonstrate a willingness and proactiveness to learn new software (e.g., Zoho Books, etc.).
• Possess good communication skills and basic proficiency in English.
• Know how of export documentation process
• Liaison with bankers, vendors etc
• Preference will be given if worked for a small textile and apparel brand which exports
