About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Platform Manager Manufacturing to join our ITD Data Centre and Global Connectivity team
In this role, you will lead the development, management, and optimization of a robust and scalable manufacturing platform that supports our digital transformation goals
You will oversee the design, maintenance, and operation of IT systems within the manufacturing infrastructure, ensuring security, resilience, and scalability
With a strong focus on compliance with industry standards such as IEC 62443 and implementing Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) principles, you will bridge the gap between IT and manufacturing operations
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive innovation, streamline processes, and align IT infrastructure with business objectives
Your responsibilities
Oversee the full lifecycle of manufacturing platforms, ensuring their availability, security, scalability, and performance
Establish monitoring and maintenance practices to maintain platform health, proactively identifying and resolving issues
Lead continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing platform operations and conducting regular capacity planning to meet current and future business demands
Work closely with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to align IT and OT systems, ensuring smooth interoperability
Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation on platform configurations, processes, and changes
Ensure compliance with industry standards (e g, IEC 62443) and implement ZTNA principles for enhanced security
Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain robust security measures
Develop and implement a governance framework for manufacturing platforms to ensure data quality, integrity, and security
Participate in IT Risk Management initiatives aligned with internal and external audit and compliance strategies
The experience we're looking for
Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or platform management, with hands-on expertise in designing and managing manufacturing infrastructure
5+ years in IT/OT roles with a focus on manufacturing environments
Expertise in IT/OT convergence, industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, and network architecture
Practical experience with IIoT, edge computing, cloud platforms, and data integration in manufacturing
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies, and Industry 4
0 concepts
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and cybersecurity principles
Proven ability to design and implement scalable IT architectures
