Be the financial custodian for India books, adopting a frugal attitude towards expenditures and ensuring that all expenses are well accounted for
Meticulously update and file all supporting documents for each transaction in our accounting software, Xero and Ziperp while working closely with our associate director finance
Prepare financial statements of reach52 group entities according to applicable financial reporting standards
Perform cash management, including forecasting and enforcement of group distribution policy
Run monthly payrolls for the team
Create and submit monthly budgets on a timely basis, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure that all expected expenditures are captured
Monitor actual spend vs budget and account for the variances
Build a culture of continuous improvement
Ensure that the entity is compliant to all local and statutory reporting requirements including GST, VAT, WHT, transfer pricing regulations
Operations
Manage asset inventory
Work with management on any other business support tasks, and anything to do with reach52 service implementation
Source and procure goods and services needed by reach52
PERSON SPECIFICATION The ideal candidate will have:
Degree in accounting and/or finance, preferably qualified CA
At least 3 years of experience in finance and administrative work
Experience in business finance in pharmaceutical industry preferred
Familiarity with all accounting regulations and reporting requirements - GST, VAT, transfer pricing
Demonstrate interest and knowledge of reach52 s mission
A positive and responsible attitude
Willingness to learn new skills and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Detail-oriented and organised
Proficient in MS Office
Fluent in English
Strong communication skills as this role will require interaction with both internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of HR processes and recruitment/selection will be of advantage
