Data Engineer - Google Cloud Platform (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in designing large, data-heavy distributed systems or high-traffic web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, SQL, and pipeline orchestration using Airflow.

Primary Skills :

- Proficiency in Python coding

- SQL expertise and experience writing performant queries

- Hands-on experience with BigQuery, GCP, and Airflow

Responsibilities :

- Design and manage large data models, working with complex datasets and related technologies.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries for performance.

- Create and manage data pipelines using Airflow for orchestration.

- Collaborate in a fast-paced environment to solve problems and drive solutions.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience designing data-heavy systems or web apps.

- Strong knowledge of GCP, BigQuery, and pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow.
