Job Title : GCP Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python and Airflow on GCP.

- Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data from various sources (databases, APIs, files) into BigQuery.

- Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.

- Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring systems.

- Build and maintain data warehouses and data marts in BigQuery.

- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and provide solutions.

- Develop and maintain data documentation and best practices.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and best practices.

Required Skills :

- Strong Python programming skills with experience in data manipulation, ETL processes, and API integrations.

- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and scheduling.

- Expertise in SQL with a strong understanding of database design and query optimization.

- In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.

- Hands-on experience with ETL concepts and best practices.

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker is a plus.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
