Experian is looking for a Compliance Analyst
The incumbents responsibilities include managing day to day Compliance related activities such as Compliance Testing, open issue management, preparing deliverables for governance meetings and regulators etc. Youll have a strong desire to co-ordinate and partner with the Business and help to drive a focus on compliance.
Role & responsibilities
- Stay current on regulatory environment and expectations. Assist in identifying requirements from various regulatory directions and help in disseminating the same to the concerned Business Unit for awareness and implementation.
- Assisting in handling periodic and adhoc queries and data requests from the regulator through continuous co-ordination and follow-up with Business Units. Carrying out sanity checks of the data before sharing the same with the regulator.
- Coordination with respective Business Units during Regulatory Inspections, Audits, examinations etc. for obtaining and sharing data requirements.
- Support in performing Compliance Testing of Business Units to check adherence to regulatory guidelines. This will include defining scope, conducting walkthrough, obtaining data, sample testing, highlighting gaps and drafting observations for the report.
- Collaborate with Risk, Legal and other key groups to assess risk and recommend mitigating controls for new products.
- Support in creating a healthy compliance culture through the organisation through an effective Compliance Training
- Assist in interpreting and providing regulatory advice and oversight on compliance matters to Business Units
- Obtaining in-depth understanding of business line, operating processes & products and services.
- Develop and manage strong working relationships with Business Units
Preferred candidate profile
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Compliance related activities such as Compliance Testing, open issue management, handling Inspections, preparing and handling deliverables for governance meetings and regulators. Preferably well versed with Compliance Testing.
- Graduation with 3 years experience in compliance or M.B.A/ PGDBM from a reputed institute. Either of the certifications i.e. CISA/ FRM/ CFA or any other relevant certification shall be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of regulations pertaining to Credit bureau, Banking and Fintech industry shall be an added advantage.
- Knowledge/ understanding of credit bureau industry and banking practices shall be preferred.
- Effective co-ordination skills with various stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
