Project Director (Solar industry)

We are looking for a Project Head position to execute/monitor construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for tendering, estimation, budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.

1. Monitoring and controlling project performance
1. Lead the team and Deliver the project

Report project status to upper management/Customer
Prepare project MIS for in-time update during project life cycle
Monitor and control project performance as per contractual timeline
2. Supervision of the construction, monitoring tests of materials, ensure quality of construction Implement and operate a project information system

Develop and maintain a project scoreboard
Develop and implement a standard methodology
1. Manage and Review the design phase of project including Technology Selection, Civil and mechanical structures, System Configuration, Electrical Connection, Distribution and Control Systems, Power Conditioning Systems for Photo Voltaic power plant.
2. Responsible for complete project management through the installation, testing and commissioning of the system.
3. Preventive maintenance of all the electrical installations and ensure compliance with regard to all quality construction.
4. Ability to effectively work with the company s engineers and program managers to ensure customer s needs are met.

2. Development of PM competencies and methodologies
1. Promote PM within the organization
2. Develop competency of personnel, including training
3. Provide mentoring for project managers
4. Provide a set of PM tools like MSP, SAP
