Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
- Optimize applications for scalability, speed, and performance.
- Debug and resolve application defects and errors.
- Create and maintain databases and backend APIs.
- Keep abreast of Ruby on Rails updates and best practices.
- Contribute to code reviews and the continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field, or equivalent
experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails development.
- Strong understanding of Ruby on Rails framework and its ecosystem.
- Proficient in writing clean, modular, and testable code.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Shopify API integration and SaaS application.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
