Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Structural Design and Analysis:

• Perform structural analysis and design for transportation structures such as bridges, overpasses, culverts, and retaining walls.
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes (e.g., AASHTO, IRC), safety standards, and client requirements.
• Utilize design software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS or similar tools.

2. Project Management:

• Collaborate with project managers, geotechnical engineers, and architects to develop efficient structural designs.
• Prepare project reports, technical documents, and design calculations.
• Oversee structural aspects of construction projects to ensure proper execution and compliance with design.

3. Site Supervision and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct site inspections and monitor structural work during construction.
• Resolve technical challenges encountered during construction.
• Ensure materials and methods adhere to specifications and quality standards.

4. Compliance and Documentation:

• Prepare detailed structural drawings and models in collaboration with CAD technicians.
• Ensure designs comply with local and international standards, such as IRC and ASTM.
• Maintain accurate project documentation for quality audits and client reviews.

5. Technical Leadership:

• Contribute to value engineering initiatives for cost-effective solutions.
• Stay updated on advancements in structural engineering techniques and software.
