Job Summary:
The Deputy Manager - IT will be responsible for defining and implementing the organization's IT vision and roadmap at an enterprise level, in alignment with the overall business strategy. This role will spearhead business development across new territories, build scalable and cost-effective solutions that support business growth, and lead significant digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will provide technology leadership, manage IT operations globally, ensure security compliance, and drive innovation through emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• IT Vision and Strategy:
• Define and implement the IT vision and roadmap at the global level in line with the organizations overall vision.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy, overseeing the full lifecycle of technical implementations and new technology initiatives.
• Business Development and Solutions:
• Spearhead business development across new territories.
• Build scalable, cost-effective IT solutions that support business growth and align with organizational objectives.
• Digital Transformation:
• Lead significant digital transformation projects to achieve digitalization objectives.
• Develop and execute specific plans for technical implementations, digitization, and adoption of emerging technologies.
• IT Operations and Product Development:
• Provide leadership and guidance for IT operations management, including application development, infrastructure management, network management, and security management.
• Ensure timely implementation and management of SAP B1 HANA Cloud, including regular upgrades.
• Security and Compliance:
• Conduct routine evaluations of network and data security.
• Develop and implement IT policies and best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Vendor and Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to reduce costs, improve service levels, and support strategic objectives.
• Project Management:
• Organize and establish deadlines for major IT projects, including system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages.
• Conduct routine system audits and share operational reports with Heads of Departments (HODs).
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and manage IT teams across multiple territories, acting as the escalation point of contact. • Create and implement user acceptance campaigns, workshops, and training programs to ensure team competency in emerging technologies.
• Financial Management:
• Manage and report on IT budget allocations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Innovation and Emerging Technologies:
• Conduct product GAP analysis and fulfilment to ensure the organization's Digital First objectives.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the IT function.
Key Skills:
• Any Prior System Implementation Experience related to business processes and digital transformation of the company.
• Eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives.
• ERP Implementation Experience is a must.
• P2P, O2C etc.
