Front-end Developer- Trainee | On Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance, and scalable web applications using React.js.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to implement user-facing features.
• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and compatibility across various devices and browsers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure the smooth functioning of applications.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with development best practices.
• Continuously learn and explore new web technologies to improve development processes and code quality.
• Contribute to documentation for future maintenance and improvements.

Requirements:

• 0-1 years of experience in front-end web development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with front-end development tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows (GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Understanding of state management libraries (Redux, Context API) and React hooks.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and basic understanding of back-end services.
• Experience in cross-browser testing and debugging.
• Familiarity with modern design frameworks (e.g., Material UI, Bootstrap).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.).
• Understanding of Web Accessibility (WCAG) and performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of server-side rendering (Next.js) or static site generation.
