Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Lead with 12-15 years of experience in the banking domain, specializing in Automation Engineering with knowledge of domains related to Internet Banking, Payments, Core Banking, and API testing. The ideal candidate will lead the automation testing strategy, ensuring high-quality software releases by leveraging modern automation tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Test Strategy & Leadership :

- Define and implement automation testing strategies for banking applications including Finacle, Core Banking, Payments, Internet Banking, and APIs.

- Lead and mentor a team of automation testers, ensuring best practices and high-quality test coverage.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to understand requirements and ensure effective test planning and execution.

- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

2. Automation Framework & Test Execution :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks (keyword-driven, data-driven, and hybrid) for web, mobile, API, and backend testing.

- Automate functional, regression, performance, and security testing using tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, RestAssured, JMeter, UFT, Tosca, etc.

- Develop CI/CD pipelines integrating automated tests using Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

- Conduct test execution, analyze results, and troubleshoot failures.

3. Banking Domain-Specific Testing :

Perform automation testing for banking applications, including :

- Finacle : Core banking functionalities, account management, loans, deposits.

- Internet Banking & Mobile Banking : UI automation, API testing, security testing.

- Payments : IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, UPI, SWIFT, and card transactions.

- Lending & Loan Management : Loan origination, approval workflows, disbursement automation.

- Trade Finance & Treasury : FX transactions, risk management, reconciliation.

- Validate banking compliance and security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001, RBI Guidelines).

4. Defect Management & Reporting :

- Implement defect tracking and management using JIRA, HP ALM, Bugzilla, or similar tools.

- Generate detailed test reports, dashboards, and defect metrics for stakeholders.

- Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and defect closure.

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Skills :

- Automation Tools : Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, UFT, Tosca.

- Scripting Languages : Java, Python, VBScript, JavaScript.

- API & Web Services : Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI.

- Performance Testing : JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad.

- Defect Management : JIRA, HP ALM, Bugzilla.

- Banking Platforms : Finacle, Core Banking, Internet Banking, Payment Gateways.

Domain Expertise :

- Strong understanding of banking workflows, transaction processing, digital banking, and payments.

- Experience with SWIFT, NEFT, RTGS, UPI, and cross-border payments.

- Knowledge of banking regulatory compliance (RBI, SEBI, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).

Soft Skills :

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and tight deadlines.

- Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level or equivalent certification.

- Certified Agile Tester (CAT) or SAFe Certification is a plus.

- Experience with AI/ML-based automation frameworks is an advantage.
