OMP - Quality Assurance Automation Test Engineer - Cypress/Selenium (8-12 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Automation Test Engineer - Auditor/QA with 8-12 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of software products through structured testing and auditing methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience in automation testing, and expertise in auditing software testing processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement QA strategies, automation frameworks, and test plans aligned with business requirements.

- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Perform audits of testing methodologies, automation scripts, and test environments to ensure compliance with industry best practices.

- Conduct performance, functional, regression, API, and security testing to validate software applications.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure early defect detection and provide technical guidance on best testing practices.

- Analyze test results, document defects, and track resolution to enhance overall product quality.

- Optimize and extend test environments to support scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

- Work closely with software engineers, business analysts, and project managers to improve overall development and testing processes.

- Ensure compliance with software quality standards (ISTQB, ISO, etc.) and lead QA audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

- 8-12 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation and auditing.

- Strong knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java.

- Hands-on experience with REST API testing using Postman or RestAssured

- Expertise in SQL/Oracle databases for data validation and testing.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex issues.

- Understanding of security testing principles and tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite.

- Certification in ISTQB (preferred) or equivalent software testing certification.

Bonus Points :

- Experience in cloud-based testing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.

- Exposure to AI-driven testing frameworks
